Editorial Standards

Accuracy is the foundation of Brifengen News. Writers and editors should verify material factual claims before publication and prefer primary documentation, direct statements and authoritative sources where reasonably available.

Attribution must be clear. When a statement originates with a company, researcher, government body or other third party, coverage should make that origin understandable. Allegations and disputed claims must not be presented as established fact.

Headlines, summaries and social descriptions must fairly represent the underlying article. We do not intentionally use deceptive headlines or manufacture urgency that the reporting does not support.

News, analysis and opinion should be distinguishable. Analysis may draw reasoned conclusions from reported information, but assumptions and uncertainty should be identified. Opinion, if published, should be labeled.

Conflicts of interest that could reasonably affect reader understanding should be disclosed. Editorial coverage is not conditioned on payment, advertising purchases, gifts or favorable treatment.

Generative and automated tools may assist routine production tasks, but they do not remove the publisher's responsibility for accuracy, originality, rights compliance and final editorial review.
